After Linda's stint in PIRATES OF PENZANCE, it became apparent that she could do just about anything.
And so, Nelson Riddle was called in by Asylum to arrange and conduct Miss Ronstadt in a great number of lush ballads of the thirties and forties, which ended up taking three years in three different album releases.
This is the boxed set of all three, featuring Linda's very fine renditions of I'VE GOT A CRUSH ON YOU, SOMEONE TO WATCH OVER ME, LOVER MAN, WHEN I FALL IN LOVE, SOPHISTICATED LADY, LUSH LIFE, WHEN YOU WISH UPON A STAR, MY FUNNY VALENTINE, AM I BLUE, and STRAIGHTEN UP AND FLY RIGHT, among many others.
A lush production, including an 8-page book, here factory sealed.
