Ronnie Ross - Cleopatras Needle ( 1968 Fontana UK Original . SFJL 915 Stereo ). Truly stunning copy of one of the rarest British Contemporary Jazz albums from the halcyon late 60,s period. Front laminated flipback cover is lovely and clean, only slight opening edge wear and very slight ring wear on the front. Beautiful and clean, obviously has spent most of it's life in PVC protection and filed away. EX PLUS. iconic blueish grey/silver Fontana Jazz labels look like new. MINT. Heavyweight vinyl lies flat and true on the turntable platter. Beautiful gleaming playing surfaces, incredible condition. Record reviewers copy has probably only been played once for review purposes and filed away for 44 years!. I gave it another spin and it's perfect. Gorgeous listening experience. As good as it gets. . NB: Ronnie Ross was one of the most prolific UK session players in the 60,s and 70,s. He taught David Bowie to play the sax and he plays the distinctive baritone sax fade-out at the end of Lou Reed,s " Walk On The Wild Side " .
