Description

Ronnie Jones & The Night-Timers - Let's Pin A Rose On You/ I Need Your Loving

(Decca F12012 UK 7" Single 1964)

This is a 1964 UK original 7" single pressing.  The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has blue & silver "Decca" labels. These have a 4 pronged centre. The record has 1st press XDRF-34283-T1-1T and XDRF-34282-T1-IT matrix numbers. These are machine stamped in the dead wax. It comes with its original "Decca" company paper sleeve.

This is a rare mid 1960's UK Mod/ R'n'B 7" Single. I have some other original 1960's UK Beat/ Mod 7" Singles for sale too. So please see my other listings.

Vinyl: There is a minor edge warp. It doesn't really notice that much, & only really notices when playing the B-side. It does not affect playback at all. There are two very light hairline surface marks on the A-side. These measure from 3.5 cm to 2 cm in length. They can hardly be seen under a strong light. There are about 6 light or very mild hairline surface marks on the B-side. These measure from 1 cm to 3 cm in length. Some of these are hardly visible under a strong light. There are a couple of very light hairline surface sleeve rubs on the B-side too. These are barely visible.

Otherwise, there are some light, mild, very mild or very minor surface sleeve rubs which can only be seen under a strong light. The original company paper sleeve, over time, has left some light, very mild or very minor surface sleeve rubs which can hardly be seen under a strong light. Overall, this single is in Very Good condition. The Labels are in Very Good+ condition & show mild spindle wear. There are three tiny pin-pint sized rub marks on the A-side label.

The company paper sleeve is in Near Excellent condition. There is some light, very mild or very minor ringwear, & creasing. There are no seam splits.

I have fully play tested this 7" single. It plays Very Good to Very Good+ overall. There is some
light, mild or very mild crackle noticeable in the background in the quieter places. This never overpowers the music, The music still shines through! There are no clicks or pops. Overall, a very reasonable audio copy!
