Description

An often overlooked Roger Waters 1970 collaboration with Scottish composer, Ron Geesin.

Comprised of mostly body and vocal sounds with suspenseful echoed strumming and violin, Ron and Roger create sounds that could have easily been the third disc in Floyd's 'Ummagumma'.  Especially memorable is Roger's performance on 'Seashell and stone', 'Breathe' and 'Chain of life'. Final track 'Give birth to a smile' does feature all the Floyd guys and sounds like an 'Zabriskie Point' leftover. This clean repress is in EX, with the cover showing some reasonable creases around the edges and no bends, tears, or seam splits. The vinyl shows a few small lines and signs of inner sleeve wear and careful use. This mix is a bit on the quiet side, easily revealing some crackle and tick and plays a healthy VG++. A very relaxing and entertaining listen.
