Description

Offered for auction is a rare Decca wide band non-grooved stereo LP record Romantic Russia, a selection of fine classical pieces by Russian composers.

Please see photos for track listing.

London Symphony Orchestra and Chorus (John Alldis, Chorus master)

Georg Solti conducting.

SXL 6263. Stereo. Matrix numbers ZAL-7401-5L & ZAL-7402-1G

Record: VG+ (Minor scratches and marks both sides)

Listening: LP plays very well both sides, no skips or jumps. Surface noise level is low. There is some popping, but in my opinion this plays more like EX than VG.

Sleeve: EX- (Creasing, cornerwear)

All grades are visual only unless otherwise stated. All records would benefit from a clean as well.

Record Collector grading scale: Mint-Excellent-Very Good-Good-Fair-Poor-Bad

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.

EXCELLENT: The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

PayPal only, please. LP will post UK 2nd class parcel as soon as payment confirmation email has been received. Always happy to combine postage where possible, please have a look at my other lots!

International postage available:
Europe: £9 for up to 3 LPs
Worldwide £15 for up to 3 LPs
Overseas buyers please note that you will be responsible for all local delivery surcharges as well as import duties and taxes where applicable.
Thanks for looking and good luck!
