Labels

Open red Decca label format confirming a first UK pressing of this awesome release. Light spindle trace only. Excellent condition with no rips, no tears. Silver text unfaded and illustrate a beautiful example of this very scarce pressing.

 

Gatefold sleeve

Mono opening sleeve, printed garrod & Lofthouse. Slight ring wear on reverse face. Ultra clean surfaces. Slight corner scuffs. Upper edge wear only. One tiny laminate crease. Spine solid and square and undamaged, clearly showing title. Glossy sheen on outer faces and inner centrefold near perfection. Excellent condition.

 

Vinyl

Thick pressing. Virtually unmarked. One or two faint hairlines/ marks which disappear behind glass like surfaces. Ex ++ visual and the best I have seen to date! Previous owner admitted hardly played !!! How rare is this!!

 

Audio

Awesome tones. A superb aural delivery with little to fault. Some static heard between the linking grooves only!The monotone perspective is phenomenal on this recording, conveying the tones with a razor sharp edge and a concise definition. Hardly any surface disturbance, no crackle, hiss or pops!! Remarkable audio channels conveying a significant depth of sound through exceptionally clear channels.

 

One of the best examples of this awesome Stones’ classic.
