CONDITION
Disc
Labels: NEAR MINT
A vivid & vibrant set showing just a small handful of light, well-aimed spindle trails around the side 1 centre hole and just one on the other.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Flawless, deep-gloss playing surfaces which retain all of their factory shine and are totally unmarked in strong daylight. Even closer examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp fails to reveal anything more than a few barley visible wispy paper hairlines consistent with the few times this disc has been removed from its inner-sleeve. Both sides of this archive copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing and would be tough to upgrade.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
This copy has clearly been barely played and as a result the sound quality is raw, powerful & free from any groove/playwear. In fact, apart from a touch of low-level vinyl background between tracks, there is little to fault on this impressive sounding copy.
Cover: NEAR MINT
A impressive example of this fragile and easily damaged cover which has survived the past 49 years in exceptional shape.
The iconic front panel is perfectly clean with no scratching or rubbing to the high-gloss laminate with the only trace of wear being a single tiny 'thumbnail' and an unavoidable faint disc impression from storage.
All corners are sharp & square free from any heavy bumps or bruising and both opening edges are clean & undamaged. The exposed, unlaminated rear panel is clean & white overall with just a hint of storage but certainly no significant blemishes or any writing or missing paper. Both flipbacks are fully intact and upper and lower seams are unstressed & unsplit.
The spine is clean & unworn with a perfect text and retains its factory-pinched ends.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +
Clean & flat with just a few gentle wrinkles from storage and no writing, seam splits or tears.
