This German 1st pressing of their debut album dates from 1964 on the burgundy & gold Decca label: BLK 16 300P
Both the side 1 label and cover list 'Mona' as track 3 on side 1
Machine stamped matrix numbers: XARL 6271-II X & XARL 6272-I X
'MANUFACTURED IN GERMANY' is machine stamped into both run-outs
Vinyl weight: 158g
Housed within a fully laminated cover 'Printed in Germany' still retaining the 'MacNeill Press' UK printer's credit on the rear panel
This copy comes complete with its original poly-lined inner-sleeve

Labels: EXCELLENT +
Both are clean & unworn with no damage to the delicate gold print and a small handful of faint, well-aimed spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Immaculate deep-gloss playing surfaces which are unmarked in strong daylight. Closer examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals little more than a sparkling rainbow shine along with some harmless wispy paper hairlines consistent with the few times this disc has been removed from its inner.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
This copy has clearly been barely played and all tracks play cleanly & clearly, free from any groove/playwear. In fact, apart from a hint of low-level vinyl background on 'Honest I Do' & on the bands between tracks, there is little else to fault on this superb copy which would be tough to upgrade.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A highly respectable example of iconic cover. The striking front panel is in good shape but slightly spoiled by a small area of laminate wear where someone has removed a sticker. However, apart from that, there is little to show in the way of wear; there are no 'thumbnail' or spine wrinkles & all corners are sharp and unbumped. There are a few small 'pushes' to the opening edges but no tears or feathering anywhere. The rear panel is perfectly clean & unblemished and both seams are smooth, unstressed & unsplit.
The spine is clean, square & is perfectly worded throughout.
Inner-sleeve: VERY GOOD
Clean & flat but with a tear on one side from the central window
