1969 UK 1st MONO PRESSING LP
This superb disc forms part of a unbeatable collection of top condition Rolling Stones UK 1st pressings which I have the pleasure to list this week. Please take a look at my shop tosee the entire collection.
This well looked after and highly attractive copy is a 1969 UK 1st MONO pressing on the unboxed red & silver Decca label: LK 5019
Housed in an outer laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed, octagonal shaped gatefold cover.
Complete with its original red 'mono' printed octagonal inner-sleeve.
Matrices: XARL-9067-P-1A & XARL-9068.P-3A
Stamper codes: 1/M & 1/H
A 'JT' purchase tax code is present in both run-outs.

A clean, bright & unworn pair with just a collection of fairly visible spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Pristine, deep-gloss playing surfaces which bear no surface marks or any other visual blemishes when examined in strong daylight. A number of harmless wispy inner-sleeve removal hairlines are visible directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp but no other marks or wear is. Both sides of this cherished copy lie 100% flat when playing, with no dishing or warping.
Play: EXCELLENT +
This great sounding copy has received just some extremely careful attention from top-quality equipment as the sound during my careful playcheck at volume was unworn and apart from a touch of light background on the introduction of '2,000 Light Years From Home', there is very little to fault here.
Cover
EXCELLENT +
A superb example of this extremely fragile and easily damaged cover. The delicate front leaf is clean, glossy & flat with no creasing, damage or 'thumbnails' to its laminate. All of the exposed edges are sharp and unworn with just a hint of discolouration to the top but no tears or feathering to any. The inside of the gatefold is 'as new' & unmarked with just a little stress - but no tears - to the lower part of the centre hinge. The rear panel is faultless and all seams and the fully worded spine are unstress and completely unworn.

Clean & white where it should be, with no writing, splits or tears anywhere.
