Rolling Stones Their Satanic Majesties Request UK Decca Mono lp With 3D Sleeve TXL 103
Matrices: ARL-8126-T2-3K & ARL-8127-T2-3K
The record is in good condition. It is clean flat and shiny but there are a number of surface marks that contribute a background crackle in between tracks and in quiet parts throughout the whole lp. There are a few light pops but no overtly loud ones. There are no skips or jumps but in a couple of places there is some mild distortion for a few seconds. The lp is not trashed but it is certainly not without it faults. It is acceptable as a listening copy but no more.
The labels are in very good condition. They show a number of spindle marks and a faint name on both labels.
The 3d cover is in very good condition. There are a couple of creases and some light browning but it is in pretty good nick overall. The main problem is some brown tape residue in the inside of the gatefold and light wear where a previous owner has tried to remove the browning. It isn't overly obvious but is clearly there (see photos). The 3d lenticular picture is in great nick.
No-one who wants a final upgrade copy should bid on this: it is probably best thought of as a good collection filler.
