Rolling Stones 'Stripped' Vinyl Album Factory Sealed

Extremely Rare Virgin / Caroline Records (Cat. # 7243 8 41040 1 6 ) first UK pressing from 1995. Factory Sealed and absolutely mint condition. Recorded during the Voodoo Lounge tour in small venues and live in the studio. Stripped was a play on the word Unplugged from the series which were being done at this time. Produced by the incomparable Don Was a must have for Stones or vinyl fans. You just don't see this album very often and especially not sealed.

There have been a few questions about the labeling of this album.There is a label pasted over the Virgin Label's bar code information that is actually printed on the back of the album jacket. The label says 'Marketed and Distributed by Caroline Records ' and has a bar code printed on it. This was used to cover up the Virgin bar code information. The stuck on label does not cover all of the Virgin info which is actually contained in a small red box.You can see the word Virgin below the label and the album was shrink wrapped after the secondary label was applied. Goldmine'sRecord Album Price Guide 6th Edition describes it this way. V 2801 (8 41040 1). U.S Versions pressed in the U.K. but have UPC code paste over with Marketed and Distributed by Caroline Records. Hope this clears up any confusion.

All of my albums are stored with an additional plastic covering in specially designed album boxes in a smoke free environment.
