The Rolling Stones Decca TXL 103 Mono
Condition : Cover : EX+, Vinyl : EX+, Labels : NM, Original Sleeve : NM.
Here's your chance to win this massively rare Lp in stunning EXCELLENT condition !!! It's the original first pressing Decca with "Mono" printed on back and spine, on later copies the company used the stereo sleeve with TXS 103 and overstuck labels with TXL 103. This early copy can also be identified by the more vibrant blue cloud pattern in the background. These early are nearly impossible to locate nowadays especially in this condition.
The laminated gatefold cover with the 3d picture is simply awesome. There are no visible signs of shelf-wear, super clean surfaces, no stickers, splits or writings. A few minor negligible creases can be seen under direct light. The 3d pic has some scuffs that do not disturb visually, it has no turtle like cracks like most other copies, the colors are strong and very vibrant. 2 or 3 hardly visible light stains. The gatefold's inner surface is super clean. Corners are in great shape, you'll find a tiny bit of wear at the very tips only. Perfect spine.
The record itself is in great condition. The vinyl has very thin superficial hairline marks from sleeve's inner due to age. A professional cleaning with professional equipment such as Loricraft or VPI is highly recommended for maximum listening pleasure, unfortunately there's no such equipment here in Lebanon
The stamped numbers in dead vinyl areas are : ARL - 8126 - T2 - 2K and 11 , ARL - 8127 - PI , respectively. This is different from most other 1st pressing, i'm wondering if this is an export copy !!??
.The unboxed and textured turquoise labels have all the important details : ear, speed, long playing and ffrr texts (see scans). A few hardly visible spindle marks.
The original red and white patterned inner sleeve is intact, it is in perfect condition. A plain white sleeve will be used to avoid any splits during shipment and delivery.
Due to this item's rarity i have put a reasonable reserve.
