ROLLING STONES - 'THEIR SATANIC MAJESTIES REQUEST'
This 1st UK STEREO pressing of their psychedelic opus dates from this album's initial release in December 1968.
It is on the 'deep-groove' green & silver Decca label: TXS.103
Matrix numbers: ZAL-8126-T2-4K & ZAL-8127-T2-7K
Stamper codes: 1/K & 1/BC
Disc weight: 148g
Housed in an outer laminated 'Robert Stace' printed cover with a 3-D front panel.
Complete with its original red & white 'smoke' design lined inner-sleeve.

A clean & unblemished set with a small collection of faint spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: VERY GOOD
Both playing surface are clean & glossy with just a small number of superficial surface marks in strong daylight but nothing deep or feelable. There is a small 'indentation on each side which does thankfully not affect sound or play. Closer examination directly beneath my unforgiving, powerful halogen desk lamp reveal numerous wispy hairlines but no significant or major marks. Both sides of this respectable copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Play: EXCELLENT -
This copy has received a moderate amount of careful play but still sounds great and is without any groove/play wear distortion on any track or any other significant deterioration to the sound quality overall. In fact, apart from a touch of light background in some of the quieter passages, there really is little to fault audibly. There are certainly no clicks, pops or any other such audible distractions or wear.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A clean & strong example with some light storagewear but no major faults throughout. the front panel is clean & undamaged with no creasing or rubbing to the high-gloss laminate. There is some minor wear to the corners but no bumps or bruising to any. The rear panel is clean & glossy with a little laminate lift towards the spine area but no other signs or age or wear. The inside of the gatefold is 'as new' with no marks or wear to either panel. The spine is fully intact, even at the ends, and all the wording is covered and complete.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
A clean & unworn example with light storage bends to two corners but no writing, seam splits or tears.
