Description
Here is your chance to win an ultra-rare 12-LP radio show on the Rolling Stones that was broadcast by The Mutual Broadcasting System between 9/30 and 10/3/82. The entire history of the the greatest rock'n'roll band in the world is presented in 12 hours of music and interviews. This set is housed in it's own custom box and includes 24 pages (12 double sided) of cue sheets and a 1-page letter from Glenn R. Morgan, the Director of Music Prpgrammingto the Clearing Stations briefing the program.
The 12 LP's are all in near mint condition with no spindle wear at all. They were probally played no more than one time. The cue sheets are all organized, on heavy stock paper, with no tears or creases, and show the DJ's check marks for each segment (see photos), a common occurence for disc jockey's who wanted to confirm that each segment played to completion. The outer box is in VG+ condition, with three corner separations on the upper lid (none on the bottom), a couple of minor abrasions and some light ring wear. All in all, a very, handsome set and one that does not come along that often. U.S. bidders only.
