• 1965 Australian 1st press Decca MONO LP 
• Matrices: XARL-6791-1A & XARL-6792-1A
• Mother/Stamper: G1/I(?) & 52B (no stamper code at 3 o'clock position)
• This Australian-pressed LP uses UK Decca metal parts

In the 1960s, LPs of popular UK artists such as the Beatles and Rolling Stones were pressed in Australia (and other Commonwealth countries) using UK metal parts. During this time, Australia had less than 25% of the population of the United Kingdom. As a result, Australian LP pressings using UK metal parts of these popular artists were made in much smaller quantities, making surviving examples that much harder to find in collectible condition.


CONDITION

DISC: This rare Australian 1st press MONO LP is visually in EXCELLENT condition. Both sides show full gloss, with only light hairlines. Both Decca labels show spindle trails.

COVER: The Australian-made flipback cover is in EXCELLENT+ condition. The only condition issue is an LP impression. The front side has thick laminate and the pinched spine is fully readable. Overall, this cover is quite presentable.

  use/wear but is not trashed.
• I use unforgiving sunlight and incandescent light to visually grade each LP.
• I don’t make unverifiable claims as to how many plays a non-sealed LP has had.
