Description
I purchased this album used in an advertised condition of Very Good + + which I would equate with a grade of an 80. Having played the vinyl through a pair of Grado PS1000e’s I would agree with this appraisal. There is minor surface noise however there is still plenty of articulation in the sound of Charlies Hi-Hat’s so overall, all is well with this vinyl. The jacket was sold as being Very Good+ which might be a stretch. Bottom line grade based on the wear I evidenced in the pictures is a 70 which I would qualify as very good only. Certainly could be worse but I wish the condition of the jacket match the quality of the vinyl. Since I purchased the album the vinyl was placed in a MOFI sleeve and the jacket was placed in a protective plastic sleeve (though it may not help too much at this point. Nevertheless.) That having been said the album is priced accordingly Finally, regarding shipping the album is shipped within cardboard inside of a perforated record mailer with the album outside of the jacket but within the plastic sleeve (in order to protect the spine of the jacket).
