Let It Bleed

These mono releases are becoming rarer by the day and to locate one in this condition is remarkable. This particular album was released around the time of the stereo initiation, the launch of a new sound dimension. Obviously, the public’s demand for the stereo format hit the roof, so the mono copies were phased out fairly quickly as they produced low public demand at the time. Some were even scrapped as many did not sell, and production ceased very rapidly , hence the apparent rarity of this beautiful vinyl. Rest assured that the ones that were bought were played and played into submission, taken to wild parties, used and abused big time, with the result of most copies being found with massive groove wear and  surface damage .

This album presentation I have scrutinised extremely carefully and in my opinion offers one of the best audios that I have personally ever heard . This is certainly one for the serious collector.

A stunning example of the best Stones album ever released. Impossible to locate in this sensational condition and THE earliest first UK press!!!

Look at those matrix numbers!! THE earliest first UK pressing of this gigantic Stones release!! What a gem of a record this is!

Labels Near MINT minus!!!

Open red Decca label format. Appear stunning against the highly polished , jet black vinyl surfaces. Silver text unfaded and projects magnificently against the deep blood-red, scarlet coloration. Ffrr ear logos absolutely perfect and hardly a spindle line observed!!! Just a very slight trace of use and grade a near mint  in anyone’s catalogue. Appear factory fresh with NO mottling, NO peeling, NO hand writing, NO lifting. NO crusting! NO hand writing of any kind. Very close to perfection.

Inner red sleeve-THE original with no blacked out choir credits. THE first issue red MONO inner track sleeve with NO rips, NO tears, NO seam splits!!!! Hardly a crease observed. So lightly handled and in near mint condition with NO staining. An absolute gem .So hard to locate like this. Near mint minus condition!!

Poster

NO rips or tears and in fantastic condition. The Victor Khan original !!!! Excellent + !

Album sleeve

Thickly laminated front face. Still retains a lovely , glossy reflective sheen. Some light creasing, tiniest ring wear. Spine solid and square , clearly showing title with NO edge wear which is massively rare on this sleeve. Hardly any feathering to opening edge and comes complete with THE original first issue sticker which is in near mint- condition.  Ultra clean reverse face , normally found heavily stained and discoloured but not this beauty !NO rips or tears of any kind. Corners are almost perfect , just a slight kink on one, and must be the best album cover ever viewed from this fantastic release. Normally, one finds excessive splitting of the laminate along spinal edge, but this spine is near perfect. The feel of this cover is amazing as the thick laminate coat is beautifully tight and gives an awesome mirror like sheen. Ex++++/Near mint minus  condition !!

Vinyl

An absolute delight!  Solitary hairlines/very light surface marks observed when angled against the natural light only where the sleeve has brushed against the surfaces. Highly polished with a mirror like sheen . Highly desirable record indeed as after 37 years , it still appears fresh and clean. See pics to whet your appetite!!! A vision spectacular!! Under a strong halogen, more light surface marks are detected but mark my words, this vinyl is quite exceptional and will be treasured for many years to come. So rare to find like this. Thick and  solid , the  earliest first UK pressing and gives a buzz when held. Excellent visual!!!!! A beauty!

Audio

Never heard such a sensational delivery from this album release. The depth of sound is quite remarkable and the tones are conveyed with a pinpoint precision and a razor sharp edge! Very lightly played and this music is heard at its ultimate best. Hardly a crackle detected except on the linking grooves and during some of the quieter sections of the music, where there is the lightest of distant static heard. But oh so faint and does little to disturb the transmission of the best R&B  music ever produced. This audio is therefore quite exceptional.

For the most part of the playback , there is minimal surface disturbance, if any !!! A truly sensational aural delivery .The most important feature of this audio is its concise delivery, each note delivered sharp and clear with NO distortion detected. This is very rare to find on a monotone recording where the heavy styli of the sixties bore into the grooves causing considerable sound distortion. Therefore this audio is quite exceptional to say the least !! I have laboured through plenty of vinyls to locate that scarce clarity of delivery , not so much through the channels but of the tones themselves. It is this feature that rates the true value of a vintage classic. Most of these mono classics were heavily played, used and abused into submission, resulting in massive groove wear . This record has been treated with the utmost care and so lightly played, which gives this record that unique aural delivery  so much coveted by collectors world wide and yet remains so elusive to us all. But NOT this time…. Impossible to locate like this .

Midnight Rambler initiates the second side in awesome fashion. . .the bass tones are transmitted with a remarkable depth whilst the drums/percussion beats thunder through the speakers with an exquisite warmth and vibrancy, alongside Jagger’s jabbering vocals. The monotone perspective is heard like no other through exceptionally clear channels and one will be hard pressed to find a better audio from this monumental Stones classic!

Well, what more can I say. One of the best examples of this album release ever offered to you and lies tantalisingly within your grasp..Comes COMPLETE with mega rare poster and stickered album sleeve, and the rare, near mint ,mono, original red inner .

A rare exhibit and of true investment quality.

Absolutely awesome !
