Monophonic Malevolence
This EXCELLENT+/NEAR MINT MONO UK 1st pressing of Let It Bleed is remarkable for a few reasons. First, when the album was released in December 1969, Decca had abandoned the mono format for new-release albums. Second, very few 1st press Let It Bleed LPs got the boxed Decca label from 1970; mono LPs with the unboxed label are far more common. Third, finding NEAR MINT copies of any 1st pressing Stones LP from the 1960s is nearly impossible. This LP includes both the poster and Decca MONO lyric inner sleeve, which does not black out the London Bach Choir credit.
CONDITION
DISC: The UK 1st press MONO LP is visually in EXCELLENT+ condition. Both sides show full gloss, with only some very light sleeve removal marks and signs of play. Both boxed Decca labels show maybe a spindle trail each.

COVER: The Upton Printing Group front-laminated cover is in NEAR MINT condition. This cover has the pinched-ends spine and a gently sloping top, similar to other late 1960s UK covers. It shows virtually no wear.

INNER SLEEVE: The original Decca MONO inner sleeve is in EXCELLENT- condition, with mild signs of storage wear consistent with its age.

GRADING INFORMATION
- I grade conservatively. MINT is a sealed LP; NEAR MINT is an open LP/cover
with virtually no signs of use/wear; EXCELLENT is a well-looked-after LP/cover
with light signs of use/wear; VERY GOOD+ is an LP/cover with average signs of
use/wear but is not trashed. - I use unforgiving sunlight and incandescent light to visually grade each LP.
- I don’t make unverifiable claims as to how many plays a non-sealed LP has had.
Please note: eBay's shipping cost estimate may not reflect actual shipping cost.
