Description
Rolling Stones, 'Let It Bleed'.
Original UK boxed Decca blue label stereo press LP & poster.
The eighth album by the Stones and probably their best, first released in December 1969. The only Stones LP initially released with both boxed and unboxed labels and the last ever dual stereo/mono release. This copy comes with the glossy 'poster', the corrected lyric inner and early P-6W P-6W later 1st issue matrices on the second boxed label design (see Stones On Decca.com). The 'Printed In England' front laminated sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some light corner wear & some light laminate rubbing & a couple of creases on the front cover, with some light rubbing/discolouration on the rear cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the blue lyric inner is intact, but creased & in VG+ condition and the poster is intact, with a small corner crease and in EX condition. The record is in visually EX to EX+ condition, with only a couple of sleeve removal hairlines visible on side 1 and line of small needle scuffs visible and a couple of hairlines on side 2. The labels are in EX+ condition, clean & bright with evidence of one or two very light spindle markings on each side side. The sound reproduction is EX+, still clear & precise throughout with no loud hiss, pops or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some low, brief background noise during the run in grooves, overall a really great, loud and punchy listen!! The matrix nos. are; XZAL-9363-P-6W stamper 4C-GM, XZAL-6364-P-6W stamper 1-IB.
This is one of the later 1969-70 copies of the 1st pressing of the original 1969 UK stereo issue of this album!
