Description
LK.5025 1969 issue Side 1: Matrix XARL-9363 P-1A Side 2: Matrix XARL-9364 P-1A Red label design version 2. Decca unboxed.
The inner sleeve has "with The London Bach Choir and..." blacked out by Decca weeks after the initial release of the album in 1969 because shortly after the issue of the LP, The London Bach Choir got upset with something on the LP (I have not discovered what - possibly an unacceptable lyric) and they did not want their name to be associated with the record anymore. A quick fix of the situation was that Decca covered up The London Back Choir with a big black bar. In a certain light you can still see "The London Bach Choir and..." underneath the black bar.
Of course, The London Bach Choir is performing on the track.
There is a slight split to the inner sleeve on one side. Please see the photos.
The poster is in good condition, There is a slight black smear at the top on the rear side and a crease in the corner.
The vinyl is in excellent condition.
