Description
Complete eleven LP (12 disc) 180 gram set of the now famous Sony DSD/SBM albums remastered by Bob Ludwig and pressed in Germany. These have been hailed as the best and warmest sounding reissues available and rival most originals in depth and sonic impact. They are all sealed in loose baggies with perforation, all are in mint one owner conditiion. Kept in my studio since purchase. You may never have an opportunity again to buy the complete set. Out of print limited run in immaculate condition.
This new series, The Rolling Stones Remastered, is one of the most comprehensive restoration and remastering programs ever undertaken for a major catalog.
The new Rolling Stones LPs were remastered using Sony's Direct Stream Digital (DSD) system. In this case, you likely will not be able to hear any of the telltale digital sound that usually turns so many audiophiles off.
As music critic Michael Fremer points out, "If you own American-pressed originals, I think you will be more than pleased by these reissues, which don't sound at all 'digital' in the cliched sense. If you own UK Decca originals, you're not in the market for these anyway."
Fremer also says in his musicangle.com review that, "Overall, image solidity, three-dimensionality and harmonic integrity on these releases, pressed at RTI on 180g vinyl, is far better than expected. Bass extension is also quite good, and I don't think anyone will be disappointed with the overall dynamic expression."
First album, Out of our heads, Between the Buttons, High Tide, Satanic Majesties, Beggars Banquet, Ya Yas, Aftermath, Let it Bleed, Hot Rocks (2 lps), Metamorphosis.
I have been collecting records for 45 years. All records I sell are out of my own extensive collection and have been upgraded consistently over the years. Any record I sell is the best I could find in all this time. I had a store for a while and would try to keep one copy of albums I liked. Most are unplayed. I try to keep my descriptions short to save you time. I assume, if you are here, you know the album, titles, etc. If not, Allmusic is a great site to get the scoop. Bid with confidence!

All shipping costs worldwide are under the shipping tab at the bottom!!
Let me say something about shipping: I am not Amazon.com. I go to the post office once a week, usually on Wednesdays. "Priority mail" means it goes by air...it does not mean it goes out in the next hour. I have never had a package lost and do not get complaints about packing. If you cannot be patient with shipping time, well you know. Of course all your purchases are guaranteed for satisfaction.
All records are guaranteed if returned in same condition.
Records are visually graded unless stated...have been doing this for a long time.
All grades are cover first then record.
MINT is unplayed, sealed, or play-graded mint.
MINT MINUS is like new but probably played once or twice...most would grade this mint
NEAR MINT is near new with some slight signs of play...an extremely clean record
VERY GOOD PLUS is collectible but might have some light sleeve marks and some light noise...still plays very well with no major issues.
I WILL USE (+) AND (-) FOR EMPHASIS ON THE BASIC GRADES...I DO NOT LIST ITEMS LESS THAN VERY GOOD PLUS UNLESS THEY ARE EXTREMELY RARE AND THEN A FULL DISCLOSURE WILL BE PROVIDED. BID WITH CONFIDENCE.
Flaws in covers will be noted.
