Unless a record is virtually unplayed we try not describe as Near Mint. 

Our EX+ rating is more often than not what many other dealers would grade Near Mint. 

Description:     1972 UK 1st pressing in stunning condition. Both Vinyls appear barely played, all four sides are mirror like, side three has a 1 cm barely visible light mark that in no way affects play, Both vinyls grade EX+ if not better. Artisan symbol in Dead wax, along with Rolling Stones Records etchings.  

Wide spine sleeve and inner sleeves are as pictured, No splits or tears, Inner's are on heavy card and are crisp and clean and grade EX+ if not NEAR MINT.  The Sleeve is overall EXCELLENT with only light storage ware, the one flaw is on the inside top right a historical taped repair is evident, the tape has been removed but left a few scuffs, given the cut and paste nature of the Artwork, this is not really noticeable. On reverse and both inner's: "Rolling Stones Records TM Musidor N.V. Distributed by Kinney Record Group Ltd (p) 1972" Plus, on reverse only, in a smaller font: "by Shorewood Packaging Co. Ltd. ENGLAND" 

The postcards are all intact and have clearly never left the sleeve from new, Grading NEAR MINT.

GRADING DEFINITION GUIDE:

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. 

Near Mint (NM) Vinyl will be virtually Mint as new but not sealed, possibly had a handful of plays but no surface marks or other defects. Sleeve is Virtually as near new as you will find, no creases no wear.

Excellent Plus (EX+) The Vinyl is better than EX but not quite near mint, Occasionally this may mean the odd feint sleeve removal mark or whispy hairline visible in strong light, but no proper surface marks. The sleeve may have feint creasing or very slight handling marks but still in great shape.

Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, very light hairlines and none audible marks is acceptable, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. 

Very Good Plus (VG+) The Record will have a few visible light surface marks causing a few light "pips" on playback. Some deterioration in audio quality but very little to spoil the overall listening experience.  The Cover and additional items will have storage related ware, light scuffing and general ware should be expected. 

Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times and this is evident on playback, however there should be no major deterioration in sound quality, despite light surface marks and light scratches. Wear and tear on the cover, scuffing, edge wear, minor seam splits etc, are all to be expected. 

Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion The Record surface will have visible scratches.The cover and contents will suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc
