Description
Great copy of the Stones’ classic 1972 double album. This is a November 1979 EMI reissue on Rolling Stones Records CUNSP 69100 although the labels say CUN 1/2 – go figure. The vinyl is thinner than the original 1972 release but the music sounds just as good!
Sleeve Ex Gatefold with internal opening. Storage wear only, mainly to the bottom corners.
Labels NM Pretty much like new – only a couple of spindle traces visible.
Inners NM Picture/track listing inner sleeves in almost new condition.
Records Record 1 is visually NM, superb shine to the vinyl. No marks seen in normal light. Record 2 is visually Ex because of a surface hairline mark on the first track on Track 1 Side 4, which is only just feelable. I have played through this section and I really can’t hear any clicks at all. The audio for the rest of the album is Excellent, with minor crackle at the beginning of each side. There is a slight wobble on Sides 1 and 3 but this didn't affect the audio on my deck. Clear and powerful sound throughout - a great listen!
