Description
ROLLING STONES - 'EXILE ON MAIN ST.'
This superb 100% complete original UK 1st pressing of their influential double album dates from initial May 1972 release and is on the yellow Rolling Stones Records label: COC 69100
The package is 100% complete with a fully intact strip of 12 postcards.
Both green & red printed thick card inners & original die-cut 'Patent No./Made in England' plain white inner-sleeves.
All of which are housed in an unlaminated heavy card stick gatefold cover printed by 'Shorewood Packaging Ltd.

A sparkling set with no more than a handful of light spindle marks around each unworn centre hole.
Visual - All: EXCELLENT +
Each is perfectly clean and glossy with no visible surface marks or wear in strong daylight. Close inspection directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveal only some harmless wispy hairlines consistent with light play and inner-sleeve removal. All sides lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
Played carefully just a few times on excellent equipment, the sound on this early cut is clean, clear and totally unworn and without any trace of groove/playwear or background interference. Every track on each side plays flawlessly and will not disappoint.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
A fine clean & unworn example with minor storagewear but no significant or major faults throughout. The delicate front leaf is uncreased & unworn with a small bump to the upper left corner being the only significant blemish on the entire cover. The inside of the gatefold and the rear panel are completely unworn with no ring-wear, writing or missing paper. There is slight age-toning to the spine, but all of the wording is intact and readable and all seams are smooth & unstressed.
Printed Inner-sleeves: MINT
An immaculate pair without any creasing, wrinkles, seams stresses or in fact any trace of wear at all.
Paper Inner-sleeves: EXCELLENT
Minor storage wrinkles but no tears, seams split or writing.
