The Rolling Stones "England's Newest Hitmakers" London FFrr LL3375 1964 Shrink Wrap
original VERY FIRST PRESS Mono ROLLING STONES 1964 'Self Titled' LP, London LL-3375. This is their very first LP, but this is the one that has the FFrr labels which state "Full Frequency Range Recording". This is the very 1st of the first pressings and very hard to find, especially in this condition. Ex/Ex with original inner sleeve and shrink wrap, but no poster.
When the Rolling Stones released their first album. It was mostly cover versions of American Rhythm and Blues songs, but there were a few original compositions like this one called "Little By Little." The liner notes indicate that it was written by Nanker Phelge, a pseudonym the band used for group compositions, and Phil Spector who played maracas on this track. The famous producer, known for the "Wall of Sound" was on hand for the recording sessions that produced the album. So was singer and songwriter Gene Pitney who played the piano on this track.
A serious collectors must have.
