Up for sale here is a very nice playing copy of the Stones 1965 U.S London Records red label lp compilation December's Children in glorious Mono.This is a unique American lp though it was released in 2 or 3 other territories later.It is compiled from various ep tracks,singles,B-sides and UK album tracks not released on London Records in the US at the time.If you're looking for a great compilation of the early to mid 60s period of the Stones at their most versatile (pop r & b rock and roll baroque pop etc) this lp is for you!!Early classics like I'm Free,As Tears Go By, Get off my cloud etc sound superb in their original Mono mix.I playtested this lp as i do with all my vinyl this morning and this is a very good listen indeed.Cosmetically there are marks including two parallel scuffs at the start of Side 2 but these are NON sounding surface blemishes.I've seen pristine looking vinyl that sounds awful.1960s vinyl is by and large made to last.On this lp there is very occasional isolated background ticks but very few even between tracks..there is absolutely nothing to spoil you the listeners enjoyment at all .As quality goes American sleeves of this era are not as good as the vinyl,and very prone to splits and ringwear but this one is a pretty decent condition and a lot better than most..opening top and bottom seams have been discretely taped to prevent further wear..also there is a deletion hole bottom left and staple marks further up.See pictures.Original London Records inner is included.In summary a nice example of this 53(!)
