Description


An original 1968 UnBoxed Decca pressing in all its glory. Matrix 4/2. By this point the Stones had fully formed their  sound and had moved on from the early blues covers. So the debut was selling in '68 but it would only be to the hardcore enthusiast. Lovely heavy-set copy. The vinyl comes housed in an original mono cover with pinched spine. Inner too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) Super condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of slight marks per side, one superficial trail - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an at least EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Plays lovely and clean. TOTAL BANGER... It plays clean even into the quiet segments. You gotta love this title...For audio...close to nirvana...
Cover (Ex-) And this where it gets interesting...these 60's originals almost never have a clean back. This one is highly unusual in this regard. Great front with just a couple of minor thumbnails and has avoided the usual laminate lift. The rear looks great too - most are often very aged. This example has avoided most of it - just faintest trace. Slight blemish at the top - but otherwise FANTASTIC. Spine is 90% with text fully legible and a couple of stress creases. The cover retains excellent rigidity.
