Description

In response to questions i have received regarding this item i have added this following information.
The matrix number for side A is XARL-6271-2A and for side B is XARL-6272-1A.
The code on the rear of the sleeve is LK-4605. The Record is dated 1964.
It is in MONO and printed on HEAVY VINYL
 
Extremely rare first press of the Rolling Stones Debut LP. This is one of the rarest and most desired records ever released and hardly ever come up for sale. It is the original English 1964 first pressing with the extremely rare 2 min 52 sec version of 'Tell Me'. This Shorter version was never meant to be released and only a very small amount of these records were available before the record was re released with the standard 4min 06 sec version  of 'Tell me'. What makes this record so rare is that it's not just a short version of the track but a completely different mix, and in many peoples opinion a better song preformed this way. The Record is in a 'well loved' condition, The LP itself plays through in it's entirety with no skips or jumps on any player it's been played on. It does have some scratches and and light hairlines which i have tried to show to the best ability of my phone camera! The LP sleeve is partly faded on the front as can be seen on the picture i have supplied.There are no rips to the sleeve though some creasing on the front and back. on the back of the record unfortunately a previous owner has wrote their address. This Record is very much loved and though has some of the signs of it, it still plays all the way through well.
This IS one of the rarest of records and comes up for sale only once in a blue moon!
