RARE MONO RECORDING !

Gatefold sleeve  R Stace 1st issue with stapled booklet attached. One of the most stunning album covers ever to materialise from this awesome vintage Stones’ classic. The front/reverse faces are an inspiration with hardly a crease of the laminate to be seen. Very smooth to the touch with a glass like reflection and is viewed in near mint condition. Appears factory fresh and ultra clean as if it just ran off the press. Unbelievable condition for a 41 year old album sleeve and must be the best in existence today without a doubt.

The spinal column is the wider spine variety and is normally seen damaged and flattened like a pancake. This spinal column is very close to perfection, square and solid and no laminate splits. Even the upper/lower extremities are hardly worn. Four of the eight  corners are just showing their grey tips owing to the lightest of wear but cannot really describe how stunning this gatefold appears.It is quite magnificent .

The reverse face has the die cut hole to indicate stereo/mono recording, confirming that this is a genuine, first issue R. Stace sleeve.

To put the icing on an already rich cake , this beautiful album presentation is complete with the red, original, inner sleeve and is shown through the aperture as it was all those years ago. Truly amazing .

This stunning gatefold opens to a beautifully maintained booklet, displaying some of the best Stones photographs , all in vivid coloration, showing no fading, rips or tears. Booklet is firmly attached and in excellent +++/near mint - condition. Very lightly handled and a pleasure to view. Each page is virtually as crisp and as new as the day it was attached to this awesome first issue gatefold sleeve.

Turquoise wide ridged open Decca format. Earliest issue. No damage just a light spindle trace. Appear very fresh and are a delight to view. Ex + ! Unfaded silver text. No spindle wear visible. No crusting or mottling of any kind. Superb exhibits of the very first ,unboxed ,sky blue label format.

Never seen better than this.Most are discovered with numerous surface marks and scratches, as these mono records were heavily played with heavy styli, which resulted in massive groove wera and surface damage. This vinyl appears UNMARKED and is near mint in appearance. Absolutely unbelievable surfaces and only if angled against a strong light, can one observe one extremely light surface mark and that is all ! Has to be the best ever offered for sale on E bay as the surfaces are highly polished and reflect a mirror like sheen, very similar to mint vinyl. Stunning visual.

Audio

Fantastic aural delivery.  Sorry but I am unable to fault this aural delivery . Each track is heard at its very best, delivered with the warmest of punches and the monotone perspective operates in sensational style. There is a tremendous depth of sound , coupled with each tone conveyed with a razor sharp edge. I doubt whether there is better than this . Later reissues are just a shadow against this phenomenal aural delivery.With that first pressed, extra loud cut, the audio is far superior  than the later pressings. Sensational aural delivery.

Great tracks like Satisfaction, The Last Time, Lady Jane, Little Red Rooster and many more. All of the Stones best music is found on this album presentation. To locate this vintage classic in this near mint condition is quite remarkable. The first issue gatefold sleeve is truly stunning, without a doubt, the best ever viewed and the unmarked, highly polished vinyl is a very rare exhibit indeed. True investment quality and possibly the very best example in existence today.
