Remarkably well preserved unboxed Decca: the rare early stereo variant. Apart from a little discolouration on the back of the sleeve, there is little to give away this albums vintage. Excellent audio just a bare whisper of almost inaudible very occasional background noise, not quite mint audio but not too far off. The sleeve is remarkably well preserved with little to reveal its true vintage.

The James Upton Ltd front laminated sleeve has a handful of very small laminate creases and some minor discolouration/handling marks to the back of the sleeve but is in otherwise excellent condition

Comments: An near excellent sleeve that only shows minor signs of its vintage.

Record:

The disc is not warped in any way. The disc still retains its original new sheen and looks only occasionally and carefully played. There are no noticable scuffs, scratched or marks just the the odd finger mark. The sound reflects visual condition, offering a great detailed analogue experience with little noise or the usual perceptable audio reminders that you are listening to vinyl. A copy I feel sure you will be pleased to own.

Visually: the vinyl maintains its original sheen and looks in excellent condiition without any obvious scuffs, marks or scratches.
Play testing: the record delivers pure analogue vinyl sound with just a little minor noise on the run in grooves and only a whiff of barely perceptable background noise to betray its age. No clicks, pops or obvious groove wear. A real gem.

How I pack:

I use top quality cruciform (pizza box style) mailers along with sheets of highest quality card stiffeners. The disc will be removed from the sleeve and if the inner sleeve is non-generic, I will put the LP in a new generic sleeve to avoid damaging the original. Box sets will be packed in boxes and protected with bubble wrap. I have comprehensive a comprehensive range of packing materials at my disposal, so rest assured, your order should arrive undamaged.

A bit about me:

It was 1960: I was eight. My cousin joined the Air Force and gave me his collection of 45’s: a great selection including Elvis and Buddy Holly. Usurping the family Dansette, I became well and truly hooked. By 1964/5 I was also seeing some of my favourite artist live. At the age of 11 I joined by first band playing music on and off over the subsequent years that also gave me experience of working in recording studios. Music is in my blood.
