Description

 An original 1st stereo press on UK Decca. Comes housed in a genuine stereo James Upton pinched spine cover. This 1st press is difficult to find in stereo. Note the Decca deep groove on the labels. This label design is THE VERY earliest to go into use. There's no tax code and publishing found on the right hand side. The Decca inner is present too. So, we're 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) Lovely condition and has only seen light use. Spindle hole exhibits minimal wear. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light markings per side - nothing heavy or problematic. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of deviations per side. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Plays clean and for genuine'67 impressively so. You might detect a few brief crackles in one isolated spot per side. A couple of ticks in one isolated spot per side. But overall clean stereo delivery. Highly recommended.
Cover (Vg+) Super difficult to find in anything approaching decent condition - but this example is pretty clean. The front is nice with crease bottom left. One inch wear through middle of top seam is just cosmetic really. The rear is tidy exhibiting only some ageing in the odd spot. Minor edge wear. Spine is 90% intact. The cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg) Some ageing. No split.
