Sleeve

There is some light wear evident with some age yellowing to the mainly white back but nothing outrageous. There is some scuffing evident at the opening and a little creasing to the laminate but the spine remains readable and its altogether better than usually found.

Disc

This is on the wine red label with boxed Decca logo & the print in black. This technically identifies it as a Seventies third issue but was in fact the first Stereo issue. You can see from the scan that there is little evidence of spindle wear around the centre hole.

The vinyl itself remains in Excellent condition. Whilst obviously played it has been well looked after and is free from any noticable surface scuffs or scratches. Upon close inspection you can just see a few light hairlines but these are inconsequential and have no effect on play.

The real treat for collectors is the long version of 2120 South Michigan Avenue over 1½ minutes longer than the normal version available here in Stereo for the first time. This remained unreleased until the SACD / DSD reissues in 2006.
