CONDITION
Disc: NEAR MINT
This exceptional disc bear no spindle trails around either totally unworn centre hole indicating little if any play at all. Both playing surfaces are 'factory-fresh' with all of their deep-gloss shine intact and are 'as new' in strong daylight. Closer inspection beneath halogen light reveals only a few faint marks from contact with the inner-sleeve and a sparkling rainbow shine. The sound quality is clean & unworn with no trace of any groove/playwear distortion in either channel on any track. The only distraction during our play-check were two clicks on 'High And Dry' which may be caused by something lodged in the groove but no scratch is visible. Very hard to find a better or earlier early example.
Protected all it life the the shrinkwrapping, this cover looks like it left the shops last week, let alone 51 years ago. The striking front panel is totally unscratched and unfaded with the only signs of wear being two 'thumbnail' wrinkles and a little laminate lift towards the upper spine edge. There are tiny bruises to the corner and a small 1.5cm repaired tear to the rear opening edge. The unlaminated rear panel is clean & white with no fingerprints or any other blemishes whatsoever. Both seams and the spine are smooth, unstressed & unsplit.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean & bright with a few storage wrinkles, but no writing, tears or seam splits.
