1966 UK 1st PRESSING LP
This superb disc forms part of a unbeatable collection of top condition Rolling Stones UK 1st pressings which I have the pleasure to list this week. Please take a look at my shop to view the entire collection.
This original and early copy is a 1966 UK 1st mono pressing on the 'deep-groove', unboxed red & silver Decca label: LK.4786
Housed in a front laminated, non-flipback 'Robert Stace' printed cover.
Complete with its original printed poly-lined inner-sleeve.
Matrices: XARL-7209-1B & XARL-7210-6A
Stamper codes: 2B/HC & 1/HH
The 'KT' purchase tax code is present in both run-outs.

A very rich & clean pair with unworn centre hole and just a handful of spindle marks to each.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Pristine deep-gloss playing surfaces which in strong daylight show no surface marks or wear of any kind. Close and careful inspection examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than a single 1cm non-feelable hairline on side 1 but absolutely no other visual marks - or even any wispy paper hairlines in sight. Both sides lie of this superb copy lie 100% flat when playing, with no dishing or warping.
Play: EXCELLENT
This copy has been barely played and is without any significant deterioration to the sound quality. The only blemish found during my single careful play-check was 5 clicks at the beginning of 'Under My Thumb'. Apart form that, and a little light background between tracks, there really is little else to fault here.
Cover
VERY GOOD
A respectable example which displays a 'normal' amount of general handling & storagewear with no major faults. The front panel bears a number of light handling wrinkles and minor storagewear rubbing, but nothing heavy. There is a little wear to the rear opening edge but nothing significant here or to any corner. The rear panel has some age-discolouration and a few flack of missing paper just to the right of the track-listing but no writing of any kind. Both seams and the fully worded spine are unstressed, unsplit & undamaged.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
Clean & fully intact with just some light storage bending but no writing, splits or tears.
