Description
The Rolling Stones U.S. 45 rpm single, "Not Fade Away", backed with "I Wanna Be Your Man" with original picture sleeve - not a re-issue or reproduction. London Records #45-9657. This is the very first 45 picture sleeve ever released by the Greatest Rock and Roll Band in the World. The picture sleeve is conservatively graded in VG condition with shelf wear around the edges (white edges) and record impressions (ring wear) on both front and back. A very rare and hard to find sleeve. The record looks like it has never been played. No writing on the labels and no needle scratches can be seen on the record. Matrix number DP - 32719 - 1G on side A and DR - 32719 -1E on side B etched into the dead wax.
I recently noticed that I originally had 2 pictures of the same side of the sleeve so I corrected that. The one side has a mis-alignment of the top left corner. The sleeve edge was not aligned perfectly before it was glued at the factory. A triangular shaped sliver of white can be seen where this mis-alignment occurred.
