Original OZ 1st Pressing LP released in 1965 on the Red & Silver unboxed Decca Label. Cat: LKA7595. This album is in MONO.     

THE ROLLING STONES, NOW! is a masterpiece of early British R&B, Rolling Stones style. Things start off with a powerful rendition of Solomon Burke's signature tune "Everybody Needs Somebody To Love.” Amid all this esteemed company, though, the standout tracks are the Jagger-Richards originals. With its heartbreaking lyrics and poignant accompaniment, "Heart of Stone" could have been a classic soul ballad appropriated from some great, obscure American singer. On "What a Shame," the Stones prove that they don't have to look to outside sources for their blues. Keith's penetrating slide here, as on "Little Red Rooster," foreshadows greater things to come.

There are some light spindle marks on labels. Record has some light scuff marks and very light scratches that cause some light crackles throughout mostly only noticeable between tracks and is in VG+ condition. Gloss cover with back flaps has light ring wear, a few tiny surface tears around edges, a small sticker stain on top right corner and a few light age spots and is in Excellent condition.
