Well here goes! Selling one of the finest copies of the Rolling Stones debut LP's. I will be listing the second LP in similar condition soon as well
The story behind this (and a few others we are listing over the next few days) is that it was obtained from a chap who used to be "in the industry" back then I think in distribution. Turns out he kept a whole load of stuff and never played it - just turned the inner sleeve in to identify it was unplayed, and stored them. So there are a whole bunch of pretty mint 60's LP's and singles we were lucky enough to purchase a while ago.
We need to raise some cash soon and so are reluctantly selling a whole bunch of rare records and items that will get the best return for us (we hope). Still clinging onto as many as possible (if you see my unplayed copy of The Ramones Blitzkrieg Bop in mint pic then you'll know I've failed to hold on to even my faves!)

The Vinyl The vinyl is effectively mint I suppose, maybe -Mint - just due to age, but fact is I don't think it's ever been played (I've never played it even on a nice system for fear of devaluing it) - Not truly sure how you should grade something that has never been played but is "old", if Mint/Mint- is wrong in this case please forgive me.
The Cover The cover has been in store for 50 years! I've really tried to show any blemishes in the photos and took close ups where I can (ebay only let me do 12 pictures - aren't records hard to photo!)) (Not all the close ups are blemishes, just wanted to get HQ pics of the cover) but the three tiny things which you can see in the photos are
a) really light ring storage mark on the front (you have to put it under light to see it, didn't photo well) b) Rear cover, lower left corner, the tiniest "crush" (it's not even a crease) see photo that actually makes it look worse than it is c) Rear Cover, top left, some storage "browning", again the photo makes it look more obvious than it really is Discogs list the cover as "Cover B1" and state "The back cover lists ''I Need You Baby'' as track A4, the cover has ''flipbacks'': top and bottom are folded over the back cover." it is this cover
The Labels The labels are just perfect in every way - and great to look at Discogs lists the label as "Label X" and state "The label rim reads on top ''Made in England'' and nothing more, the N.C.B. and B.I.E.M. captions are on the left hand side."
The Matrix Numbers On Side 1 it is XARL-6271-2A On Side 2 it is XARL-6272-4A
The Inner Sleeve It is the original, and has wrinkling (who wouldn't after 50 years) but it is clean and spotless
Packing I'll pack this well obviously - The LP itself I'll put in a brand new Mo-Fi Poly Liner, separate from the original liner and seprate from the sleeve itself.
