DESCRIPTION: Rolling Stones 1st self titled LP. With front laminated flipback sleeve, matrices ending 2A/3A and "Mona" to label and sleeve. Red Unboxed Grooved Decca labels and poly lined "Handling and Playing" inner sleeve. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Decca LK 4605 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1964. COUNTRY OF RELEASE: U.K CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): G/VG. Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen with a lot of brushing lines, some hairlines and a few short surface lines. Played majority of this tonight (including all of side 1) on my budget deck today. Sounds around Good. Music is clean and loud with a good few ticks and some clicks. Music remains prominent and it plays through without jumps, sticks or skips. Cover has only light edgewear, cornerwear and light to moderate creasing. Spine retains decent shape and is fully ledgible. Rear of sleeve has some moderate discolouration around opening edge that nearly prevents a VG grade. Also has credit crossed out and recredited in biro. Very clean inner sleeve is free from splits. Very clean labels. No writing, rips, sticker or sticker tears.. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER ROLLING STONES/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 40-50 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
