INFO : Rodriguez' rarest album “Alive” was released in Australia by Blue Goose Records in 1981 to coincide with his tour that year.
Recorded live at The Regent Theatre, Sydney (17th & 18th March 1979) the album was, under instruction, only released in Australia and New Zealand for a one year period and in very small numbers.
For whatever reason at the time it attracted low sales and, as most die-hard fans would be aware, consequently only a handful have surfaced since.
This piece would definitely rate in the higher bracket condition-wise of those few copies ever offered for sale previously.
CONDITION: Note : All records (except where Mint) have been vacuum-machine cleaned and fully played on a quality system to determine an accurate grading.
VINYL : A stunning platter. I have played it through once and can state without question that this is an incredibly impressive NEAR MINT copy. No lead in-out noise. No marks and glorious shine. Impossible to fault and certain to please.
LABELS : No spindle marks and clean as per photos above.
SLEEVE : A touch of ring-wear on both sides which apparently is common with this 40 year old release. No writing or other marks and the spine is intact. The corners are square and it presents very nicely. Rated a VG+ at the minimum and I can’t see it being a disappointment at all. Revered local rock historian Glen A. Baker has detailed an informative storyline on the rear cover.
