Rod Stewart- Good Morning Little School Girl/I'm Gonna MoveTo The Outskirts Of Town 1964 Decca Demo F.11996 EX Release 16/10/1964
This is Rod Stewart's first record of his long career. This is extremely Rare and in this condition.
Plays without any crackles,pops,clicks and background noise. It plays as well as the first time it was played, both sides.
Both sides are EX and both sides have a couple of superficial Mark's, it has all its sheen the only negative of this demo is the A side label. It has had a sticker probably a promo one from Decca and someone has tried to remove it leaving behind the dried out glue, it may well come off using ethanol but could make it worse and take some of the label with it, so I have left it alone. Also the 'Little ' has had a yellow mark, you can still read it.
The photos show all the negatives that I have mentioned but all the positives out weigh them

Back in 1964 The young Rod Stewart was WELL known on the RnB and Mod scene and known as Rod 'The MOD Stewart and used this well know blues track as his first single.
Good Morning, School Girl" is a blues standard which has been identified as an influential part of the blues canon.[1]Pre-war Chicago blues vocalist and harmonica pioneer John Lee "Sonny Boy" Williamson first recorded it in 1937. Subsequently, a variety of artists have recorded versions of the song, usually calling it "Good Morning Little Schoolgirl".[2]
When I first got this 45 and played it, there were light crackles and a few pops and was going to Grade it VG+ But after it was professionally cleaned it not only looked better but played without clicks, pops or background noise, and now was an EX copy. I was quite amazed just how well it played just showing that a good clean can enhance the copy and bringing it back to a very good playable copy. It does have a few light mark's as mentioned in the original description , but they do not effect play.
