1ST PRESSING
1st UK press on the Vertigo " large Swirl " label, with the large swirl above the spindle hole and the wording Vertigo below.

No track timing credits appear on labels or sleeve.

Released in a  gatefold sleeve, with 2 internal glue-tabs top and bottom to right-hand wallet. Left hand wallet glued closed.
A-Side label simply a Vertigo logo with "Side A"
B-Side label has no writer or publisher credits.

Inside credit list includes: "Mac not available due to bus strike" [Which indicates 'Faces' musician Ian McLagan (keyboards) was not present at recording. However, US release credits him and the track upon which he is credited there is "You're My Girl"- prefixed to "I Don't Want To Discuss It" on this album. This suggests McLagan was dubbed, or the track added later].

Waller & Quittenton are mentioned as present in sleeve notes, but not credited

THE VINYL IS VG PLUS PLUS  - SHOWS UNDER BRIGHT LIGHTS  A FEW WISPY THIN HAIRLINES AND NO FELT DEEP SCRATCHES ON VERY HIGHLY SHINY VINYL. THIS IS A VERY NICE RECORD NICELY CARED FOR

UPON PLAYING THE SOUND IS VERY DYNAMIC WITH ROD STEWART MIXED LOW AS IT IS IN THE UK ORIGINAL RELEASE - THE RECORD PLAYS WITH SOME STATIC AND SOME CLICKS AT NEEDLE DROP AND BETWEEN TRACKS

THE  GATEFOLD JACKET IS VG++ - MIDWEIGHT ORIGINAL UK CARD - NO SPLITS  - SMALL PRICE LABEL   - THERE IS  NO RING WEAR AND VERY LIGHT GENERAL AGE WEAR -  LIGHT BUMPING TO CORNERS (SEE PHOTO) - NO WRITING

FINALLY ONE LAST WORD RE HAIRLINES, IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ANY NON SEALED RECORD WITHOUT THEM, MANY HAD THEM FROM NEW. MOSTLY THEY ARE A RESULT OF STORAGE AND USE AND USUALLY HAVE LITTLE IMPACT ON THE SOUND QUALITY. THE SAME GOES FOR BACKGROUND NOISE, UNFORTUNATELY ALL RECORDS WILL HAVE SOME AND THIS VARIES AND REFLECTS THE PRESSING QUALITY. 

Most records have production marks where someone touched or moved the vinyl while it was still semi-soft.  These marks look like smudges, but are not scratches or "paper scuffs" and do not usually sound.  Untouched vinyl from newly-opened records have these marks.

How I Grade Condition Of Discs

Mint

This means I have owned it from new or purchased from a distributors warehouse, basically it means absolutely new shape, never been played or out of its dust cover. In the case of LP's, a North American album will have to be factory sealed (anyone can reseal an album!) Take Note: European and Japaneses albums were never shrink wrapped!

Note: Being mint does not guarantee it's free of pops and clicks, many pressings especially from the US were made with very poor vinyl and in a hurry which means often there are imperfections in the pressing. As a former importer, we were often given back brand new albums due to clicks heard in the playback.

Mint Minus - No such thing, it's either mint or not.

Excellent - A disc is super clean, with no visible marks

 Excellent Plus, means it's probably mint but can't be proven by me.

Excellent minus, is a disc that is excellent except it may have some markings that do not show up in the playing

VG - A disc that is STILL in good shape, WILL have some scuffs or scratches, not in excellent shape but well worth owning. VG + and ++,a disc that is that much better than VG.
