Description

I am not a record expert but I can tell you this looks NEAR MINT! I really didn't see any flaws or scratches at all on this record. Plastic wrap still on cover and has it's paper sleeve. Corners of cover look great with just a tiny bit of wear, and hole or rip in the plastic wrap corners. Two tiny nicks in cardboard cover on edge. In the photos you might see a spot on the left hand side that is actually on my camera lens on the inside. I have not been able to get it clean. So it is not on the record itself. Thank you.

Rod Rogers And the Travis Jay Jones Orchestra is actually an alias for multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Rodd Keith, who is the best known figure in the obscure musical sub-genre known as song poem music - a practice by which aspiring lyricists submit their wares, and for a fee the record company would put their lyrics to music. Keith wrote, sang and played a variety of instruments on many of these recordings which have since become highly collectible and quite rare. Presented here is the often described musical genius' quirky, Las Vegas themed album, recorded in the early to mid 1960's using the Chamberlin tape playback sampling keyboard, a forerunner of the modern synthesizer. All selections newly remastered.
