CHARLIE FEATHERS. TOO MUCH ALIKE b/w WHEN YOU COME AROUND
King Dee Jay Special Bio #5043
The bio label says that is Charlie's first for King. His discography on King says that this was Charlie's last recording on King and that When You Decide, King 5022 was his first.
The record is visually graded VG (5), which may be a slight stretch. The A side has many overall fine facial lines and one heavier scuff. The A side plays much better than it's visual appearance - it plays loud, strong and clear with only occasional, but not offensive, surface noise which does not distract from your listening pleasure. There are no skips, stops or other.
The B side is much like the A side in appearance but does have one scratch that can be felt (near the 7:00 o'clock area of the label) and does cause a audible click. But because of the pace of the music it is not that obtrusive. Again, no skips, stops or other.
The labels have NO writing, stickers or tears. Just some normal wear and soiling. (See photos)
I do NOT use the goldmine grading system but instead a 10 point grading system which I learned many years:
10 - Mint
9 - NM
8 - NM-
7 - EX or VG++
6 - VG+
5 - VG
4 - VG-
3 - Good
2 - Fair
1 - Poor
