Rockabilly 45 ~ JOHNNY BURNETTE TRIO “Rock Billy Boogie” CORAL orig ’57 nice! HEAR
Artist: JOHNNY BURNETTE + ROCK ‘N’ ROLL TRIO (Dorsey, Johnny, Paul)
(B side features Johnny with other backing (includes Grady Martin on elec. guitar; Bob Moore on string bass; Murray Harman on drums).
Titles: “Rock Billy Boogie” / “If You Want It Enough”
Label: CORAL. Stock copy - label is orange with black text. Catalog number is 9-61918.
Year: 1957
Condition: Nice VG+ to VG++ with 100% of original gloss, plays closer to VG++. There are a couple light scuffs that produce an isolated soft tic or two, but no serious marks or distractions. Fidelity is superb as you can hear in the accompanying sound clip.
Labels display minor rubbing, and there is a tiny dab of red nail polish on each side which I suppose was placed there by the original owner so that the record could be identified as belonging to him or her.
Includes the original vintage CORAL RECORDS factory sleeve in excellent condition.
NOTE: Final single issued by the group on the CORAL label.
