Description

     I have for sale a extremely rare Rock, Rockabilly 45 RPM record by Ray Smith on the Heart label Recorded in the 1950's. Side A - Gone Baby Gone, side B- Swinging Boogie. This is a original pressing and have had it in my collection for 40 plus years, long before they started making reproductions. Grading is very subjectmental and I have taken some good photos so you be the judge.  As you can see by the photos it has been played many many times and visually is not in very good condition. It does have a 5/8" split on the vinyl that you can see in the photos. That said when playing the record you here a click when the needle goes over the crack until you get half way through the song and past the split vinyl. I have been told that the record can be repaired but I don't know for sure if that is true. There are no warps, and both sides have some luster. The vocals (not much background noise at all) when played are amazingly good considering how the condition of the vinyl looks. Normally I would not sell a record in this condition but due to its extreme rarity it would be a great addition to anyones collection. You can see the label condition in the photos so you be the judge on the condition. You are buying this as is with no returns as I have explained the condition issues and have taken great photos for your inspection.   I am starting this auction at a low starting bid.
