Description

Highly original 1974 album from leftfield maverick genius Robert Wyatt. Released only 1 year after an accident that left him permanently disabled, it's like nothing before or since. Produced by Nick Mason, it features contributions from many contemporary luminaries including Hugh Hopper, Fred Frith, Mike Oldfield, Richard Sinclair and the late great maverick's maverick Ivor Cutler RIP. It's on Virgin, V 2017, matrix nos A2u & B2.

Side one has 3 individual "songs". Side 2 unfolds like a suite (but in a good way, honest). Tracks:

6. "Little Red Robin Hood Hit the Road"

I play-graded on headphones, and it plays almost perfectly. I counted 3 light clicks during the very quiet intro to Alifib, and a few patches of very faint static. Visually the vinyl is very clean with no marks that I can see. Both labels have a small X written in Biro and a little spindle wear. The thin-card single sleeve has attracted a bit of dirt around the disc imprint front and back. It has minor wear to the bottom edge.

UK delivery will be £2.50 for First Class post, which allows for up to £39 compensation. Airmail delivery(which allows for up to £39 compensation) to:

• the EU will be £3.40

• or £5.70 to USA & Canada

The LP will be packaged in a cardboard mailer with stiffener, the disc packed outside the sleeve (so as not to cause sleeve wear), and supplied with a heavy duty PVC outer cover. If you want any other type of delivery/packaging (including other international delivery enquiries) then please ask.
