General Information

Like all of my auctions, this is a no reserve auction. Typically, the starting price for the auction is the price the original LP sold for and what I paid for the item. In special cases I will set the starting price higher for obvious reasons. If the LP is still in print, I will start the auction lower than what I paid for it so you can get a deal!

I am a music lover and an audiophile and this item is from my personal collection.  I have been collecting and enjoying vinyl since 1974 and I have learned how to properly archive LPs and how to grade them for resale.  The time has come for me to sell off some of this collection and I have identified several hundred LPs that I will be listing over the next few months.

All LPs have been stored vertically in custom made, dedicated LP storage racks in a climate controlled environment and all items come from a pet and smoke free home. I have a dedicated listening room and a dedicated LP storage room so you can trust that these LPs are well cared for.

These are in the best possible condition and you are buying from a reputable seller who is committed to maintaining excellent customer relations.

Shipping Information

I understand that most buyers want the least expensive shipping and packaging however, some want better protection in a larger box. I try to strike a balance and give the buyer the choice. 

The item can be packaged using a new, high quality LP mailer measuring 13" x 13" x 1" for protection during shipping. This is the most economical way to ship a single LP and it provides reasonable protection during shipping. If your item is a high dollar value item, or if you want to ensure that there is little chance of damage during shipping you may request shipping with the LP mailer packed in a larger box with bubble wrap making it significantly safer for transport, although shipping will obviously increase for this service.  It does however, provide superior protection for rare and expensive LPs and I do recommend it for those rare LPs or for people who really want the best protection for their LPs.

All shipping costs are charged without any mark-up or additional fees.  No handling charges are applied.  The eBay shipping calculator is showing the rates for the above mentioned 13" x 13" x 1" LP mailer and the basic Canada Post - small packet air service includes up to $100 insurance.  If you would like your item shipped with more protection in a larger box and with greater insurance shipping costs will be more expensive however, there will be no mark-up on any service regardless. Other services shown in the eBay shipping calculator can carry insurance above this amount up to $1,000 and if you choose one of those shipping methods I will cover the cost of the insurance on your item. It is your choice how you would like the LP shipped and insured.

Shipping is via Canada Post although if you prefer FedEx, UPS or another courier I will be happy to work with you.  I only ship using air service as ground service typically takes far too long for most buyers, especially those overseas. Buyers in Canada and the US can decide to use ground service if they wish.  For those in the US ground service is typically a few dollars less than the quoted rates.

If you would like to bid or purchase more than one item from my eBay store I will gladly combine shipping.  This is obviously the best way to reduce shipping costs per LP.

The item will ship within one business day of payment received unless there are exceptional circumstances such as inclement weather.

I will ship anywhere in the world however, when shipping to Russia I will only ship via a trackable, insured method such as expedited parcel.  If you are bidding or purchasing from Russia please contact me for shipping prior to purchasing. I want to work with you to make sure that your item arrives safely.

As the buyer you are responsible for any duties or taxes your country imposes on your item.  All items ship with a manifest that indicates the actual dollar value. This protects you against loss during shipping and in the unlikely event that your item does not arrive we are both covered financially.
