Singer and actor, born December 26, 1942 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Died on March 16, 2025 in Bennekom, aged 82. From the 1960s until the 2020s, he was one of The Netherlands' most successful and well-known singers. He scored his first and only number 1 hit 34 years into his career with the single Banger Hart, in the summer of 1996.
