Description

PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS AND READ THE ENTIRE ITEM DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY AS THERE IS A LOT TO DESCRIBE!!
PLEASE NOTE: The vinyl is in Very Good condition, but has typical wear with some surface marks that will cause surface noise typical with a Very Good grading.

The gatefold cover is in Very Good condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, fading, creases, peeling, dings and ring wear. There are no split seams, but there is a stress point / peeling on the spine that may lead to a split someday that is typical with gatefold covers from being opened and closed. (please see pics)

The cover also has some indentations on the front cover from someone tracing or drawing the RAINBOW logo on a piece of paper leaving impressions on the cover. And there is some fading / peeling inside the gatefold. (please see pics)
If any of these issues are a concern for you, please do not buy it.
AS A BONUS I HAVE INCLUDED A Black & White PHOTOCOPY OF THE VERY RARE AND IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ORIGINAL HYPE STICKER. I like to add a PHOTOCOPY of the hype sticker, if I have it, as an added bonus as they are usually discarded and are hard to find.
Up for sale is one(1) Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow - Rainblow Rising LP from 1976 on Polydor / Oyster Records (#OY-1-1601).
This is a COLUMBIA HOUSE RECORD CLUB copy as denoted by the CRC on the rear cover. "CRC" is the only reference to being a club copy. There is no other additional catalog numbers on the jacket or the labels. In fact, this pressing has MASTERDISK stamped in the deadwax, which is pretty rare for a club copy.
This incredible band features, of course:
Ritchie Blackmore, formerly of Deep Purple on lead guitar.      Future member of Black Sabbath, The One, The Only, RONNIE JAMES DIO on vocals.
The Legendary Cozy Powell on Drums and Jimmy Bain on Bass.
And was Produced by Martin "The Wasp" Birch.

PLAY TESTED! I RECENTLY PLAYED THIS LP AND IT SOUNDS AWESOME! but you will hear surface noise typical with a Very Good grading.

The Vinyl is in Very Good condition with surface marks that will cause surface noise typical with a Very Good grading. Even with a Very Good grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. More noticible during the quiet parts.

The labels are in Very Good condition with some spindle marks.

The gatefold cover is in Very Good condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, fading, creases, peeling, dings and ring wear. And has the issues stated above.

This cover typically doesn't age well, but this one is in Very Good condition.

The LP comes in a plain white inner sleeve.

I am thinning out my vinyl collection. This is the actual item you will receive. See the photos and judge for yourself.
