Description
PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS AND READ THE ENTIRE ITEM DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY!
IF YOU ARE A STICKLER, THIS COPY IS NOT FOR YOU. THE VINYL HAS DEFINITE SURFACE MARKS THAT WILL CAUSE SURFACE NOISE / CRACKLING AND POPS & CLICKS TYPICAL WITH A GOOD+ GRADING.
MOST NOTABLY, ON SIDE 1, NEAR THE END OF TRACK 1 AND THE BEGINING OF TRACK 2, THERE IS A LARGE FEELABLE SURFACE MARK THAT CAUSES A POP OR CLICK FOR SEVERAL ROTATIONS.
PLAY TESTED! I recently played this LP and it STILL SOUNDS AWESOME, especially cranked up. But you will hear surface noise and pops & clicks typical with a Good+ grading. Plays all the way through without skips. The surface marks do not cause any skips.
AS A BONUS I HAVE INCLUDED A Black & White PHOTOCOPY OF THE SUPER RARE ORIGINAL HYPE STICKER for the US Release. I like to add a PHOTOCOPY of the hype sticker, if I have it, as an added bonus as they are usually discarded and are hard to find.Up for sale is one (1) Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow - Rainbow Rising LP from 1976 on Polydor / Oyster Records (#OY-1-1601). NO BARCODE. This is a the Non-Gatefold reissue version.
This incredible band features, of course:
Ritchie Blackmore, formerly of Deep Purple on lead guitar.
Future member of Black Sabbath, The One, The Only, RONNIE JAMES DIO on vocals.
The Legendary Cozy Powell on Drums and Jimmy Bain on Bass.
Produced by Martin "The Wasp" Birch.
MASTERDISK G.K etched in the dead wax signaling a high quality mastering.
The Vinyl is in Good+ condition, but has visual surface marks that will cause surface noise typical with a Good+ grading. Even with a Good+ grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. Certainly more noticible during the quiet parts.
The cover is in Good+ condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, crumples, scrapes, dings, fading, and ring wear all of which are typical. There are NO split seams.
This cover typically doesn't age well. but this one is in pretty good shape.
Nice fairly clean labels with spindle marks.
The LP comes in a plain white inner sleeve.
I am thinning out my vinyl collection. This is the actual item you will receive. See the photos and judge for yourself.
